What Happens in Everything Hate
Talia recovers, briefly and visibly, and the episode uses that relief to make everything after it worse. Capri, still resident, has been repairing her body from the inside. It is the first real evidence that the construct is not purely predatory, and it is immediately complicated by the fact that the repair is also an investment.
D and Roman turn the campaign into a production. Masked raids on Arasaka assets are filmed, cut and released, and Night City responds the way it responds to everything: by making a celebrity out of the violence. A fixer named Yupi gives them a base and amplifies the broadcasts, and D's fame grows faster than his judgement.
Roman's role in this is the season's sharpest moral question. He is not just filming; he is editing. He chooses angles, beats and framing that turn a man's grief into a serialised revenge story, and he is good at it. The episode does not let him off with the excuse that he was only holding the camera.
Weak, meanwhile, follows the only thread that might save Talia: rumours that Soulkiller technology could preserve a consciousness in another body. He asks Avida to investigate Kiril, which puts her directly in the path of the corporate apparatus that will eventually kill her.
The emotional centre of the episode is Omi, D's oldest friend and the other survivor of the Snake Nation massacre. Omi finds him, watches what he has become, and tells him plainly that revenge cannot restore their family. D listens. D does not stop. And inside Talia, Capri explains what she actually wants: to be reunited with the half of herself that is living in D.

New Characters and Reveals
Soulkiller enters the story as a possible cure, which is the most dangerous form it has ever taken. In Cyberpunk lore it is a weapon for copying and destroying minds; here it is offered as a way to keep a dying girl alive in a body that is not failing.
Capri's stated goal — reunification with her other half — is the season's clearest statement of intent. She is not trying to escape. She is trying to become whole, and she will use whoever is available to do it.
Songs in Episode 6
- “Boya” — BIJI. Plays over the sequence where Roman films a masked D threatening Arasaka.
Episode 6 Ending Explained
The episode ends with three people making the same mistake in different registers: D believes visibility equals justice, Roman believes documentation equals distance, and Capri believes repair equals consent. Every one of those beliefs is going to be tested in the next four episodes.
Weak's thread is the counterweight. He is the only character in the episode doing something that could plausibly help someone — chasing a medical possibility rather than a fight — and it costs him Avida's safety, then her life. The show is careful to show that decency here is not rewarded ahead of schedule.
Yupi's absence after this episode is worth noting. The show introduces fixers and corporate figures freely and does not always bring them back — a pattern that matters when you are trying to work out who is actually important.
